Neo: But if you already know, how can I make a choice?
The Oracle: Because you didn’t come here to make the choice, you’ve already made it. You’re here to try to understand *why* you made it. I thought you’d have figured that out by now.
I had an interesting conversation with Kelsey Lynore of http://thetarotnook.com/ about the human need of oracles, which dates back to the dawn of civilization. The fruit of our conversing is my article on the Pythia and the Oracle of Delphi, which I presented to Kelsey to feature on her blog:
http://thetarotnook.com/2013/09/06/the-fascinating-flickering-tongue-of-the-pythia/
With her insightful tarot readings, Kelsey is the modern embodiment of the Pythia to me. She has twice given me readings and each time I was amazed how different the whole procedure was from a typical, cliché encounter with a fortune teller. She is nothing like a fortune teller, but rather the High Priestess, eloquent in the metaphorical language of symbols and incredibly intuitive: an ultra-modern woman coming from a long lineage of ancient wise sorceresses.
Fascinating~

You mean – the topic? I completely agree.

I agree so much with your words about Kelsey, having had a reading done by her and looking back. What an enriching experience! The Question of Oracles is fascinating, for sure.

I know! I just would not have the courage to do it in pubic – like public confession. You were brave!

I am confessional by nature. In fact I am writing the first in a regular feature of non poem posts. Just regular topical posts. That reading broke some important barriers for me, even in “public speaking” on camera, as silly as that might seem to some.

Actually, it did not seem silly at all. Your reading was really great, so authentic and genuine. I was deeply impressed.

I remember that piece of conversation between Neo and the Oracle. It is a cool way to look at time, choice, free will and predestination as well, isn’t it? I agree with what the Oracle said, but at the same time not. Maybe it’s because “time” as we know it isn’t the reality. Looking at that conversation and remembering what I have read I see in my mind’s eye (hahaha, I just read a blog post about “the mind’s eye”) “time” , choice, predestination and free will like this energy field constantly in motion, in flux (?), it’s all these beautiful colours made of light and it’s continuously moving, changing and flowing…so yes, sometimes we revisit the “past” to understand the choices we have made, to lead us to a particular point, which helps us in healing…but then I also feel that maybe it is an opportunity to not so much undo the past as to tweak it for the better so that the “present” and the “future” is helped as well? Much like Back to the Future sort of thing 🙂

The Oracle was a great character in The Matrix. I really like your vision of time and destiny. Thank you very much for taking your time to write such a thoughtful comment.

I will definitely check her out. Thank you Monika? Are you upset with me because I didn’t get a chance to read the 3 post? 😦 I will when I can, I promise.

Thanks for such a great and fascinating story. I again admire the profoundity of it for one thing. I´m not able to get “likes” nor comments through at Kelsey´s blog (this is not the first time). Following it is not possible either.
I can use the search, but maybe there are others, too who wish to take a look at those video readings you once shared. Could you give a link to that post? (I bookmarked it for a better time, but can´t find it).

Or you can just search for Kelsey Lynore on youtube and subscribe to her channel.
I am aware of Kelsey’s ongoing problem with likes and comments on her blog. She has been trying to fix it for ages. Thank you for reading the article! The Pythia is very important to me.

How do you get a soul card?

I add this one, too, because it is a new way to me as how the numbers correspond in the tarot. http://www.tarotize.com/2007/09/how-to-calculate-your-personality-soul.html /
Have fun, and please share if you like!

To my mind and how I know you from this blogospehre for so far, as well as intuitively, The Hermit matches. What do you think yourself?
Here is one (and only one) interpretation for those following our discussion, who don´t know so much about tarot (in my own tarot interpretations The Hermit can also have telepathic skills). One way to interpret the soul card is that it can suggest our “pure” soul qualities, special gifts and/or potential of them we then learn to apply on the physical plane by training or healing our personality and shadow. (Like always this is a valid interpretation only if it clicks inside.) http://www.aeclectic.net/tarot/learn/meanings/hermit.shtml
PS. The problems at Kelsey´s blog remain the same, to me at the least. I managed to inform her.
